A quick guide to get set up on your phone

Install the Absorb app
Any app that connects to Audiobookshelf will work — search your app store for that word and you'll see a few options. I recommend Absorb: it's free, simple, and works on both iPhone and Android. Tap to install:

Enter the server address
Open Absorb. On the Connect to your server screen, make sure the dropdown on the left shows https://, then type this into the address box:
books.tom.irish
A green checkmark appears when it connects. Leave the Advanced section alone.

Enter your login
On the same screen, fill in the Username and Password I sent you separately, then tap Sign In.

Start listening
Browse the library, tap a book, and press play. Everyone's listening progress is tracked separately, so we won't interrupt each other's spot.
A few tips
- Going somewhere without wifi? Tap the download icon on a book to save it to your phone before you leave.
- Switching devices? Your progress syncs automatically as long as you're connected to wifi or data.
- Podcasts too — if you see a Podcasts tab, that's synced the same way.
Trouble connecting?
- Double-check the address — the dropdown should show
https://and the box should readbooks.tom.irish - Make sure you're connected to wifi or cell data (not just Airplane Mode)
