Audiobookshelf Library Setup
A quick guide to accessing the library on your phone
Install a mobile app
I recommend Absorb: it's free, simple, has no ads, and works on both iPhone and Android. Search your app store for Audiobookshelf and you'll find multiple apps that will work.
Connect to the server
When you first launch Absorb, it will prompt you to connect to your server. Make sure the dropdown on the left shows https://, then type this into the address box:
A green checkmark appears when it connects. Leave the Advanced section alone.
You'll be prompted for credentials. Fill in the Username and Password I sent you separately, then tap Sign In.

Start listening
Browse the library, tap a book, and press play. You can also tap the download icon on a book to save it for offline listening. Everyone's listening progress is tracked separately, so we won't interrupt each other's spot.

Trouble connecting?
- Double-check the address: the dropdown should show
https://and the box should readbooks.tom.irish - Confirm your username and password. They're case-sensitive, so make sure they match exactly what I sent you.
